The HTC Desire HD and the Desire Z offer a new range of High Definition video recording and better photo capture on your mobile, while also being powered by the new and latest Android 2.2 (Froyo) operating system and an updated Sense user interface. Both also offer impressive media features and navigation services through their internal GPS antennae.
The Desire HD provides an 8 megapixel auto focus camera which allows you to capture great photos and record videos in High Definition, as does the 5 megapixel camera offered by the Desire Z respectively. Media can be played back through the Gallery widget preloaded onto the handset, and can also be shared on a television set through the DLNA connection which both the Desire HD and Desire Z provide, among integrated social networking for instant sharing, including Facebook and Twitter. The Friend Stream application is still preloaded also, as with previous HTC models, offering a unified view of friends and their latest social networking activity.
The handset offers a powerful 1 GHz processor and 768 megabytes of random access memory which makes it easy to seamlessly switch from one widget or application to another, and back again without leaving what you were doing. Internal memory is 1.5 gigabytes with a microSD card slot offering up to a further 32 gigabytes respectively, of expandable memory for multimedia, apps and more, the same as the Desire Z. Other features include the connectivity which is offered through the USB with USB tethering allowing you to share your WiFi or 3G internet connection with another device through the USB connection present. The Bluetooth 2.1 also offers locos proximity file sharing and instant sharing of multimedia with friends.
The phone provides an internal FM radio allowing you to enjoy live news and music entertainment should you not have enough of your own music library within the Music application which you can enjoy with either a wireless stereo headset or standard headphones through the 3.5mm jack connection. You can also enjoy sound quality above other handsets with the Dolby Mobile and SRS virtual surround sound.
The HTC Desire HD is a compact and good looking mobile phone with a large 4.3 inch display with simple touch parameters, including pinch to zoom which is useful when surfing webpages ob the integrated web browser. The handset also offers an impressive 8 megapixel camera for video recording in HD as well as taking great photo shots.
